Mr. Mosharraf Hossain is a highly experienced engineering professional with extensive expertise in the power generation sector.
He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh (RUET), in 1986. He also earned an MBA with a major in Finance from International Islamic University.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hossain has served in a number of prominent organizations, including Chatak Cement Company, Ghorashal Urea Fertilizer under Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC), Beximco Group, and Shahjibazar Power Co. Ltd. of Youth Group.
Drawing on his extensive technical and management experience, he later joined Orion Group as Senior Vice President, contributing to the development of its coal business and a 700 MW Ultra Super Critical Technology-based power plant project.
His broad industry experience and technical expertise continue to contribute to the development and operational strength of Desh Energy Limited.
