Mr. Annisul Huq, Founder Chairman of Mohammadi Group, was a distinguished entrepreneur, visionary leader, media personality, cultural enthusiast, and accomplished public speaker. He also served as the first Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation from 2015 to 2017.

Under his visionary leadership, Mohammadi Group expanded across a diverse range of industries, including Ready-Made Garments, Real Estate, Information Technology, Satellite Television, and ultimately Power Generation. His leadership, ambition, and ability to bring transformative ideas to life played a significant role in shaping the growth of the Group.

During his tenure as Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation, Mr. Huq introduced initiatives that extended beyond the boundaries of the city and inspired new expectations for urban development and public leadership across Bangladesh. His determination to accomplish what many considered impossible left a lasting impression on the nation.

His untimely passing was deeply mourned across Bangladesh. His legacy continues through the institutions, businesses, initiatives, and people inspired by his leadership and vision.

  • Former President, Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) (2008 – 2010)
  • Former President, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) (2005 – 2006)
