Desh Energy Hatiya Power Company Limited is a subsidiary of Desh Energy Limited and operates a 15 MW HFO-fired power plant in Hatiya.
The facility is equipped with 3 Caterpillar 6CM32F generator sets, each rated at 3.030 MW, and is designed for continuous power generation at 750 RPM, 50 Hz, and 11 kV.
Developed under a 15-year Independent Power Plant agreement with the Bangladesh Power Development Board, the plant supplies electricity to BPDB’s 11/33 kV grid in Hatiya.
As part of Desh Energy’s power generation portfolio, the Hatiya plant supports local electricity supply and contributes to Bangladesh’s energy infrastructure.
